If, like me, you at some point imported all of your LiveJournal entries into Dreamwidth and selected whatever option that allowed you to keep your friends and the permissions you had set up vis a vis viewing permissions, filters, etc. you may want to go through those accounts and do some clean-up.
I was following/had granted permission to all of the same people as I had on LJ, but those were, obviously, their LJ accounts, not their Dreamwidth accounts. I just went through quickly and removed the access I had granted to all the dead LJ accounts, searching each username in Dreamwidth as I did so. In this way I snipped a few more connections between this account and LJ, and found the current Dreamwidth accounts for many of those same users.
