I'm helping with a thing this year. I almost didn't sign up to help, because I have no experience with this kind of thing on LJ/DW, but then I remembered the goat rodeo that was HPKCHC on Ravelry and there's no way this can be as crazy as that.

Definitely check it out - you might find it helpful as a way to get back into DW if that is applicable, recharge your fannish batteries, stave off the boredom certain geographical areas and occupations find themselves mired in at this time of year.
